Friday, March 31st
6:00pm – 6:30pm

How your house can enter the 21st century no matter when it was built

Home heating is a major expense for RI families, who rely on gas or oil to heat some of the oldest, draftiest, homes in the country. But what’s to be done? Turns out, quite a lot. By adding some insulation, and converting my 1920s colonial to heat pumps, I now live in a more comfortable, more valuable, more energy efficient house that costs less to maintain, even though it has air conditioning in every room. The future of home heating and cooling has arrived, and it’s a lower pollution future that will get even cleaner over time. Join the conversation and learn how your house can enter the 21st century no matter when it was built.
