The Arts & The Gallery

Brought to you by the Providence Art Club and the RI State Council on the Arts

The RI Home Show is proud to bring more Art and Culture into the 2020 show and is excited to partner with both the Providence Art Club and the RI State Council on the Arts. Throughout the show, you will find artwork, artistic creations, and even some living statues!

This partnership with the Art community is something we are sure the public will enjoy.

About the Gallery

To celebrate its 140th Anniversary, the Art Club has brought attendees their very own Art Club experience! Attendees can enjoy this curated gallery space to walk through and admire works done by Providence Art Club Exhibiting Artists, celebrating local talent, camaraderie, tradition, and support of the visual artists in Rhode Island.

Youth Art Gallery on Display

In celebration of the ending of Youth Art Month, a national event in March to highlight student art and art education around the country, the RI Art Education Association will host a student exhibition showcasing 40 examples of young artists’ exceptional work from students in grades K-12 in schools throughout RI. Be sure to come and visit the student gallery and vote for your favorite piece of youth artwork. Meet some of the young artists and learn more about the work of arts educators in the State.

1-2-1 Painting Apprenticeship

On Friday, April 3, in the English Gardens, come see a live painting demonstration. A pairing of a career artist with an aspiring student emerging artist, in a work and knowledge exchange. Sneak a peek at the time-honored tradition of painter and apprentice.
