Last year's beautifully designed custom home was constructed right on the showroom floor and featured everything from furniture and appliances, to lighting and landscaping. Thousands of Home Show attendees experienced the house to gain ideas for their own home projects.
Karen Corinha of Corinha Design brought her interior design expertise to the project and Carol O’donnell from CRM Modular Homes, acting as an overall program manager, orchestrated all the sub-contractors to achieve the final result. RI Nursery & Landscaping Association (RINLA) created a memorable, appealing and environmentally friendly landscape outside the house. Arnold Lumber assembled an amazing backyard patio and outdoor space that all enjoyed after the house tour. A large portion of the house décor and its lighting were donated by the popular RI firm J&K Electric Supply Co.
Many inspiring and educational experiences.

Linkie was a big draw to the show in 2013. A very popular professional pastry chef, her cooking expertise and techniques are greatly influenced by the South African cuisine she grew up with. Chef Terranova began his career at Twin Oaks restaurant in Cranston, RI and soon became executive chef of the culinary program at RISD and is an award-winning chef and Master Certified Food Executive. He shared his seafood, grilling and smoking expertise. These two experts, along with a full complement of other accomplished chefs from the region’s top restaurants, bistros and hotels demonstrated in the RIKB showroom-style kitchen that was built onsite as a focal point in the Main Stage area.
Dynasty Pools showcased pools, spas and decks for outdoor living areas.

Susanne St. Pierre of Exciting Windows! by SSP Design demonstrated ways to beautify the home and enhance windows with the newest fabric styles, colors and trims, accessories and hardware, and even current conveniences of motorization. Susanne presented ways to gain privacy, control light, save energy and provide security with window fashions.

RI Kitchen & Bath presented practical design advice to those interested in helping senior citizens remain in their own homes as they age while dealing with changing levels of mobility, vision and needs. Creating a “universal design” living space that looks and feels like home, yet has more accessible features was discussed.
