Our team is dedicated to assisting customers, helping communities thrive, and supporting the state’s transition to a clean energy future. Rhode Island Energy is addressing energy challenges head-on by building smarter, more resilient, and more dynamic power grids and advancing sustainable energy solutions. We’re excited to meet with our customers in-person from March 30 through April 2 at the Home Show. RI Energy Efficiency and Resource Management Council

The RI EERMC provides oversight of Rhode Island’s ratepayer funded energy efficiency programs and ensures energy consumers maximize benefits to Rhode Island through energy efficiency. Established in 2006 under amendments to the Rhode Island Energy Resources Act (R.I.G.L. § 42-140.1), the Council includes fifteen members that represent small and large business, non-profit organizations, market rate and low-income homeowners and renters, municipalities, governments and environmental science and policy.
