Tour an early spring feel and 15 whimsical playhouses inspired by wishes from children and young adults battling life-threatening conditions. Rosemary’s Wish Kids came together with the talented team at Central Nurseries to create an all-inspiring garden experience that will both impress your senses and capture you emotionally. It all comes together as the power of the flower and the charity of community meet in a beautiful and popular display.
The family-owned garden center, nursery, and landscape construction company offers a range of services from design and installation to maintenance and interior plant displays. Due to its versatility, Central Nurseries eliminates the need for multiple subcontractors, which is an added value to its clients. In addition, Central Nurseries has a nearly 100-acre tree farm in Chepachet and an expansive garden center in Johnston, both of which are open to the public. The Johnston location yields an array of annuals, edibles, perennials, flowering shrubs, evergreens and shade trees in addition to a vast selection of fertilizers, soils and lawn care products. The garden center also stocks seasonal gifts and decor, wreaths, pottery, and other garden accessories. Also, the Johnston location hosts a variety of workshops and informational classes. Even if you’re not quite sure what you’re looking for, the grounds are sure to spark some inspiration, and Central Nurseries’ knowledgeable staff can answer any questions you think up along the way.

We are excited to collaborate with the Rhode Island Builders Association and join their efforts by displaying our playhouses in the Rhode Island Home Show! The craftsmanship, hard work, and skill of these school students will shine in their designs. After the Home Show, these playhouses will be moved to Bryant University and concealed in anticipation of the official Rosemary’s Wish Kids Playhouses reveal. This heartwarming event brings many surprises for the parents and children as they see these playhouses for the first time at the big reveal. Here, students meet the child and family for the first time and experience their joy, laughter, and excitement! After this momentous occasion, these playhouses get delivered to the child’s yard, where they can enjoy them for years to come. Our playhouses’ impact on these children’s lives is truly a wish granted!
